Subject of lecture: Truth Telling in An Age of Global Secrecy 
(Investigative journalists possess new tools, when joined with age-old practices, enable us to penetrate corporate and government secrecy in a way that was nearly impossible in the past. Lecture by James Steele will describe the evolution and unique importance of investigative reporting through the years, including examples from his own Pulitzer prize-winning articles. Investigative journalists continue to face many serious challenges, but they also have many new opportunities to enlighten the citizenry by uncovering the activities of those whose actions adversely affect the economic well-being, health and living conditions of the population.)
